- Hand wash recommended between uses; wipe compartments dry to prevent moisture sitting under the seal.
- Avoid abrasive scourers or steel wool, these can scratch the surface finish over time.
- Do not use it on stovetops, under grills, or over direct flame, this product is for storage and microwave reheating only, not cooking.
- Store with the lid off or slightly ajar between uses so the interior stays dry and fresh.
- At end of life, stainless steel is widely accepted by scrap metal recyclers, keep it out of general landfill where possible.

The biggest concern with plastic food containers isn't simply that they can absorb food odours or become stained over time. Heat can cause plastics to release microscopic particles and other substances into the food they contact.
Heating food in some plastic containers can cause them to release microscopic plastic particles into food. A 2023 study published by the American Chemical Society found that certain plastic containers released up to 4.22 million microplastic particles and 2.11 billion nanoplastic particles per cm² of plastic after just 3 minutes of microwave heating.
